EMPATHY VS SYMPATHY

Sympathy involves understanding from your own perspective. Empathy involves putting yourself in the other person's shoes and understanding WHY they may have these particular feelings. One of our deepest needs as humans is to be heard and feel understood. Its important to know that we cannot fix nor take responsibility for the feelings of others. Instead, put aside your own viewpoint and see things from their perspective
